Plein Air #4: Sequim Lavender Farms
A weekend before Sequim's Lavender Festival, I booked a cabin and packed my painting gear to hit the lavender fields while they were perfectly in bloom and, best yet, not nearly as busy. I did two paintings while basking in the sun and the smell of lavender.

Plein Air #3: Gig Harbor
For my fourth plein air piece, I challenged myself with a more complex subject and composition with buildings and water. It was good practice, and while I don't care for the final piece, it helped me break out of the mindset that every piece needs to be good.

Plein Air #2: Seward Park

First Plein Air Paintings
A 2-day workshop on the first very, very hot weekend in Seattle pushed me out of my studio and into Magnusson Park to create my first two plein air pieces.
